According to Facebook, people around the world spend about 15 billion minutes in WhatsApp video calling every day, and this is a sudden increase in WhatsApp calling history. So, the company decided to integrate messenger rooms with WhatsApp and Instagram too, by observing the high-demand of video-calling features.
WhatsApp Integrating with Messenger Rooms
However, when it was announced that time nothing was clear about how messenger rooms will work with WhatsApp. Not anymore, because of WABetaInfo found the feature into the latest beta build v2.20.139 of the largest and most preferable messaging app. Also, the company revealed this news on Twitter that WhatsApp integrating with Messenger rooms. This feature is not live yet, and also it is not in the WhatsApp beta app, but WABetaInfo shared some screenshots, and tell how messenger rooms will look like when unified with WhatsApp. Moreover, WhatsApp’s video-calling that was announced with Messenger room and other features is live now. Now, you can enjoy video call up to eight-people in WhatsApp, that’s exactly double till now you can call only four people in the WhatsApp group video-call. The new feature is rolled out with the beta build v2.20.133 for Android, and WhatsApp Beta version v2.20.50.25. for iOS. You just need to update your WhatsApp and enjoy all the latest updates. Facebook is working so hard and fast, and I believe that WhatsApp integrating with Messenger rooms and all the other features (including, Messenger rooms on Instagram and you can connect through Portal, etc.) will be rolled out soon.
